Adieu.Reset, the post-progressive band blending post-rock atmospheres with intricate rhythmic landscapes, announce the release of their debut album, Lago, available [release date] on all major streaming platforms.

Formed in Rome by Merel Van Dijk (vocals), Alberto Bitonti (keyboards), Alessandro Sgarito (bass, guitar) and Simon Fedrigo (drums, electronics, guitar), adieu.reset craft cinematic soundscapes that move between hypnotic textures and raw energy. Their music merges the intimacy of indie songwriting with the expansive structures of progressive rock, underpinned by a dreamlike, dark aesthetic.

The recording of Lago took place at White Lodge Studio in Rome, capturing the band’s layered arrangements with warmth and precision. The album also features special collaborations: Andrea Bianchi di Castelbianco on guitars, adding shimmering textures and angular riffs, and Roberto Mares on flugelhorn, bringing an unexpected brass depth to the sound palette.

Lago includes seven evocative tracks — such as “Digits of Pi,” “September Tide,” and “Tivoli” — weaving together layers of guitars, immersive synths, and vocals that drift between fragility and intensity. The album’s title reflects both a physical and emotional landscape: a still surface concealing deep, shifting currents.
